About Utila Bay Island:
Utila Island is the smallest of a string of islands known as The Bay Islands. Visitor are charmed by the beauty of Utila’s beaches and the fantastic diving and fishing found close to shore in this special corner of paradise with a low cost of living and wonderful lifestyle.

Option A:
Intensive Spanish Program (Private Tutor):
Private Tutor, HOTEL SERVICE, private room with private bath and FAN, meals not included.Price: $360
Price includes:
* Application and material fee $50.
* 20 hrs of Spanish lessons, 4 hrs a day, from Monday to Friday.
* Grammar and Vocabulary text, workbook.
* Airport or Dock pick up service, also Internet access for free.
* Accommodation in a hotel; 7 days a week, private room, private bathroom, fan, cable TV.
Note: Classes per week: 20 hrs Spanish lessons of 50 minutes each.
Note: The 20 hours of instructions include conversation, vocabulary, studies of grammar, reading comprehension, composition and a diploma upon completion.
* There is also a onetime application and materials fee of USD$50. The student will receive a Spanish grammar book, vocabulary book, and a workbook. The total cost for the first week will be USD$360. The cost for subsequent weeks will be as stated, in the table above.

Group Intensive Spanish Program:
HOTEL SERVICE, PRIVATE ROOM with private bath and fan, meals not included.This program has the same characteristics as the Individual program, but is given in groups of up to 4 students maximum.
For 4 hours each day for 5 days for a total of 20 class hours.
The 20 hours of instructions include conversation, vocabulary, studies of grammar, reading comprehension, composition and a certificate upon completion.Levels offered: Beginner to Advanced
Classes per week: 20
Length of each class: 50 minutes
Length of course: Minimum 3 weeks
Maximum number of students per group: 4

Spanish course with diving course, private room with private bath and fan, meals not included.
* Dive course PADI certificate (Open Water or Advance Open Water course). The 20 hours of instructions include conversation, vocabulary, studies of grammar, reading comprehension, composition and a certificate upon completion.
Price: $660
Price includes:

The Central America Spanish School, in collaboration with the Dive shop, can assist the student in scheduling Spanish course work around your dive training. The Spanish class schedule is flexible and can be modified to fit the student’s needs. Spanish instructions are also available on weekends.Note: Food is not included but is readily available, at reasonable prices, ($3 US$ or more) in many restaurants, within walking distance of the hotel and Central American Spanish School.

If you have children bring them along; we have experience teaching Spanish to children as young as 5 years old. Day care (Central American Spanish School Staff) is available for a minimal charge if a couple wants to study or “dive” without interruptions.
If you wish, you can choose alternative hotel accommodations on the island. Many hotels offer attractive packages for multiple night stays. Please let us know your needs and we can help you find a hotel that meets your specific desires. Also if you wish to study for an extended period there are apartments available on the island. How to get to Utila?
1. First you should enter Honduras to the airport in San Pedro Sula.
2. You can get Utila by Bus then by Ferry or Flight.
A. By bus, then by Ferry.
Travel by bus from the airport in San Pedro Sula to San Pedro Sula city, then San Pedro Sula to La Ceiba.
And finally from La Ceiba to Utila Bay Island by Ferry, after arrive to the bus station in La Ceiba a School representative meet the students and give the the transportation service from the bus station to the dock in order to get the ferry.This package has the price of $85 (USD) per person (one way). Or $160 (USD) round trip.
B. By Flight.
We make the reservations and prepaid the tickets for flight from San Pedro Sula to Utila.
This package is available for the price of $150 (US$)(one way) or $285(USD) round trip. A school representative meets the students in the airport in Utila and then they are escorted to the hotel assigned.NOTE: All the students should arrive to the airport in San Pedro Sula before 1:00PM. The next flight from San Pedro Sula to Utila departs at 2:30PM.
If for any reason someone arrives late he/she should spend a night in a hotel in San Pedro Sula, we recommend the hostal called Tamarindo Hostal.
