Central America Spanish School - Terms & Conditions
Registration & Payment
To insure a space at any CASS program, it is important to register as far in advance from your desired start date as possible (especially for summer programs). Registration consists of:
Paying Online using Alertpay
After filling up the registration form, you will be redirected to Alertpay.com; this is one of our official payment platforms. Here, you will have to pay the total amount of the course you are applying for, please read the program name and prices just to check if everything is correct.
After completing the payment you will receive a confirmation email from Alertpay.com, with all the details of your transaction, please print or save that information, you might need it later. You will be redirected to our Spanish School website so you can keep reading about us.
There is a One Time $50 fee for Application and Materials, you will have to make this payment at our school campus the first day you start your classes.

Paying with Bank Transfer, Western Union or Check
1. CASS requires a 50% deposit to confirm your reservation, and full payment is due 15 days prior to your arrival. You may make payments by a wire transfer in USD to our bank account in La Ceiba. You may also pay with credit card
OR
2. Submitting a completed application and full payment. The total cost for the program is due on the first day of classes and may be paid in US dollars, local currency, or traveler's checks or with a visa, master, or American express card.
Within 3 days of receiving your application, CASS will email you a confirmation and additional information.
There is a One Time $50 fee for Application and Materials, you will have to make this payment at our school campus the first day you start your classes.
Refund Policies
Notice of cancellation given prior to 30 days before your arrival will result in a full refund excluding a $50 for application and material fee for school in La Ceiba, Utila Copan Ruinas or Roatan or $200USD or $250USD. For the application, materials and transportation fee for the Mayan and Beach Program. Reservations cancelled within 30 days but prior to 14 days before your arrival will be credited for your use with a 1 year expiration limit excluding a $50 service fee. This credit can be transferred to another party. If you cancel your reservation within 7 days prior to arrival are 100% non- refundable or credit your payment.
The above refund policy is exactly the same in cases of cancellation due to war, terrorism, or similar cases. Programs can get canceled and/or changed; CASS is not responsible for these changes. CASS reserves the right to substitute comparable programs or refund tuition. CASS Liability is limited to all money paid for the program.
Classes canceled in honor of local holidays will not be made up and are not subject to any refund. But you can attend the classes another day or you can extend the classes hours some days.
Changing Start Date
You may change your start date at anytime.
Arrival & Departure
For most programs, you should plan to arrive to your home stay on the day before classes begin and depart on the day after classes are completed. Usually, your can extend your home stay a few days before or after classes for an additional fee. For airport pick-ups, CASS must receive your arrival information at least 2 weeks prior to your start date.
Important note: Your may need to spend one hotel night in San Pedro Sula or La Ceiba because flights and buses leave early in the day. Please refer to your confirmation package for more details.
Liability
While participating in this program, you may be exposed to certain risks. These exposures include, but are not limited to accidents and/or sickness without readily available medical facilities, the forces of nature, travel in the air, and travel on the ground, terrorism, and war. By submitting this form you’re assuming all of these risks and agreeing to indemnify CASS, their officers, and employees harmless for any and all liability that may arise in connection with your participation in CASS programs outside of your country.
Behavioral Expectations
CASS language programs are geared toward adults. Although our programs have options for students under the age of 16, no one under the age of 16 will be accepted into these programs unless accompanied by an adult. CASS cannot be held responsible for providing supervision of any kind either through the schools or through the home stay families.
Participants are expected to be courteous and respectful guests. Illegal drug use or abusive behavior at any age or alcoholic consumption by minors cannot be tolerated. CASS reserves the right to refuse to serve, to cancel and/or terminate participation for any person who fails to comply with the policies of the program provider (e.g. school, tour operator, program organizer), or for any other reason deemed necessary, in the sole discretion of CASS.
CASS further reserves the right, without escort and without refund to send home and participant who violates the rules stated above. The return trip will be at the expense of the participant or the participant's family.
