About Utila Bay Island:
Utila Island is the smallest of a string of islands known as The Bay Islands. Visitor are charmed by the beauty of Utila’s beaches and the fantastic diving and fishing found close to shore in this special corner of paradise with a low cost if living and wonderful lifestyle.
The only mountain here is Pumkin Hill, where it is believed that pirates hid their treasures. Legend also has it that a treasure rescued by Robinson Crusoe, who stayed on the island for more than 27 years when his ship wrecked on the coast, is also hidden here.

Facilities: All rooms are air-conditioned and have ceiling fans, private bathroom with hot water shower, cable TV, refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, kitchenette with sink, crockery, cutlery, etc. Each room opens onto our spacious verandah/balcony where hammocks are available for relaxing.
Airport pickup service and assistance with local travel arrangements are included free of charge with the option #1.

GROUP INTENSIVE SPANISH PROGRAMS:
OPTION -A- Group Intensive Spanish Program:
HOTEL SERVICE, PRIVATE ROOM with private bath and fan, meals not included.
This program has the same characteristics as the Individual program, but is given in groups of up to 4 students maximum. For 4 hours each day for 5 days for a total of 20 class hours. The 20 hours of instructions include conversation, vocabulary, studies of grammar, reading comprehension, composition and a certificate upon completion.
Levels offered: Beginner to Advanced
Classes per week: 20 Length of each class: 50 minutes
Length of course: Minimum 3 weeks
Maximum number of students per group: 4
Minimum age: 18
Starting dates: any Monday
Note: If at the moment to start the classes there are not another student, the students will then receive 15 hours per week with a private professor.

Intensive Utila Spanish Course and Scuba Diving Program Options
If you have children bring them along; we have experience teaching Spanish to children as young as 5 years old. Day care (Central American Spanish School Staff) is available for a minimal charge if a couple wants to study or “dive” without interruptions.
Below are listed two options combining diving, Intensive Spanish course, and hotels. If you wish, you can choose alternative hotel accommodations on the island. Many hotels offer attractive packages for multiple night stays. Please let us know your needs and we can help you find a hotel that meets your specific desires. Also if you wish to study for an extended period there are apartments available on the island. Please e-mail us for more information.

The Central America Spanish School, in collaboration with the Dive shop, can assist the student in scheduling Spanish course work around your dive training. The Spanish class schedule is flexible and can be modified to fit the student’s needs. Spanish instructions are also available on weekends.
Note: Food is not included but is readily available, at reasonable prices, ($3 US$ or more) in many restaurants, within walking distance of the hotel and Central American Spanish School
